The 5th China Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Building Conference was held, releasing 8 brand evaluation reports.
On December 8, the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Association released the 2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Report at the Fifth China Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Construction Conference.
On December 8, the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine released the 2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Report at the Fifth China Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Construction Conference. The report is divided into 8 sections, categorized into three types: traditional Chinese medicinal materials, traditional Chinese medicinal slices, and proprietary Chinese medicines, including 15 authentic medicinal material brands, 8 ecological medicinal material brands, 47 traditional Chinese medicinal slice brand products, 36 traditional Chinese medicinal slice brand enterprises, 30 listed traditional Chinese medicine companies, 10 innovative traditional Chinese medicine brand enterprises, 10 time-honored traditional Chinese medicine brand enterprises, and 10 brands promoting the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.
This series of brand reports is organized by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, based on solicitation and research, and produced through expert evaluation, comprehensive review, and office approval according to the association's series of group standards for 'Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Evaluation.'
The brand of traditional Chinese medicinal materials aims to actively cultivate or deeply explore authentic medicinal material brands and ecological medicinal material brands with distinct regional characteristics, promoting the construction of medicinal material brands originating from traditionally recognized authentic producing areas and reflecting the concept of ecological planting development, to achieve comprehensive coverage and in-depth development of traditional Chinese medicinal material brands, thereby promoting balanced and high-quality progress in the entire traditional Chinese medicinal material industry.


The brand of traditional Chinese medicinal slices focuses on core indicators such as quality assurance, social contribution, output value, and production volume. This year's medicinal slice brand enterprises cover most provinces in the country, concentrated in the east, with new additions in the west. The brand varieties have wide applications in terms of raw material resource advantages, processing craft characteristics, and auxiliary material applications.


To promote the growth and strengthening of listed traditional Chinese medicine enterprises and facilitate the high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry, the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on three indicators of listed companies: revenue, profit, and R&D investment for the year 2023, launching the '2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Listed Companies.'

'2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovative Brand Enterprises' are evaluated comprehensively from four dimensions: new product vitality, technological improvement, product dissemination, and scientific and technological rewards, aiming to lead the innovative development of the industry.

To promote the excellent traditional culture of time-honored proprietary Chinese medicine enterprises, safeguard the roots of the inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine, and advance the renewed brilliance of time-honored proprietary Chinese medicine, a comprehensive evaluation of the time-honored proprietary Chinese medicine enterprises approved by the Ministry of Commerce is conducted from four dimensions: historical evolution, cultural connotation, generational inheritance, and sustainable development, launching the '2024 Time-Honored Proprietary Chinese Medicine Brand Enterprises.'

To showcase the achievements of traditional Chinese medicine enterprises in internationalization and promote the internationalization process of traditional Chinese medicine, a comprehensive evaluation of enterprises is conducted based on 10 indicators across four dimensions: internationalization infrastructure, international development achievements, international market influence and standardized development, and international communication and service capabilities, launching the '2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Internationalization Promotion Brand Enterprises.'

The China Traditional Chinese Medicine Brand Construction Conference has been successfully held four times since its establishment in 2019. It has released brands and enterprises for medicinal materials, slices, and proprietary medicines, leading the construction of traditional Chinese medicine brands and forming a strong industry influence.
